Poets Apartment with Free Parking By My Getaways

Location was ideal. Near centre and beach. Free parking was an absolute godsend as parking is costly. Well appointed property with great decor clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds and everything in the way of utensils available needed for a family holiday in the kitchen.

Nothing to dislike

Well furnished and decorated. Kitchen well equipped. Comfortable beds. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided in shower. Off road parking. On a main bus route.

Only 1 hand towel for 4 people for 4 nights (1 small bath towel each provided). Only 1 tea towel for 4 nights. No cleaning products in kitchen, although washing up liquid and sponge scourer provided. Welcome Pack very meagre, like tea tray accessory you get in a hotel room, no milk though. 2 pans in kitchen cupboard still had oil in them. Too many rules and regulations by management company, with a hefty holding deposit in case of damage caused (returned very quickly after our stay). Email explaining our negatives sent directly to My Getaways, but disappointing response.

Thought the apartment was great. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Living room was good and enough space at table to sit us all.

Unfortunately the freezer was very frosted up - 2 drawers couldn’t be opened at all. As we were out all day taking picnic lunches and snacks and cold drinks we wanted to be able to keep all our ice packs frozen. This proved a challenge. Fridge was also a bit of an issue as the door didn’t seal shut properly so food wasn’t kept as cold as it should be. This was an installation issue and we sent photos and an explanation. This really does need sorting out.

It was clean and looked like the pictures, the owners have really thought about the design and looked after the place.

Lugging my suitcases upstairs. It was everything we needed, so no dislikes.

It was just perfect, very nice and clean which made my stay worth the while as I had family over from Canada

It had every facility which we required for our stay

Perfectly spacious for our group, we were very comfortable.

This is minor, but there were only 4 forks, and 1 frying pan, so cooking a fried breakfast for 6 and eating all together was not ideal.
