Extremely nice and sweet staffs. Everything about this place was amazing. Nice and relaxing time guaranteed. Would recommend for everyone staying in Ubud.

Maybe the location. A bit far from Ubud center and nothing is with in walking distance. But this did not bother us. There are free shuttles to the Ubud center and back.

The service was extremely PERFECT. Communicate via WhatsApp group. All villa nearly unable to see each other so privacy is amazing. Free flow soft drink in the room, unlimited 1hour sundown drink, all you can eat breakfast. Sensatia products.

The mekar spa was extremely expensive that’s such a shame that I couldn’t afford them. Welcome afternoon tea was not good lol. Cotton buds shouldn’t be plastic if the hotel charge this rate. Hot water is limited to 200L so may affect when you’re using jacuzzi. Toothpaste was not from Sensatia. Ants was crawling on my welcome cake.🥲

Hotel was just amazing. Spa was just magical, food for breakfast and dinner was excellent. Generally it exceeded our expectation. For every our need crew of the hotel was reacting very fast. Especially Reno. If I knew what how good is this hotel I would cancel all other bookings in Bali and just stay with them.

It is really hard to find any downsides. The only thing for me as European was that I was tired of being asked too many times during the meal about me enjoying my meal.

If you’re looking for the party vibe and with families might be a good choice but don’t overpay for Kanva tents just book K Club.

If you’re looking for luxury, tranquility and nature in Ubud, DO NOT STAY AT KANVA. KANVA is actually in K Club trying to do luxury tents with no luxury and overcharging. As a couple we thought we’d take a rest from the party scene of Seminyak for a few days of serenity and peace in Ubud, yet ended up in an overpriced tent surrounded by loud club music and pumping bass disturbing nature with zero relaxation or peace. My partner unfortunately fell ill the day we checked in, the hotel were helpful at organising a doctor to visit but went downhill very quickly. The first night there was music and shouting till 2AM on one side and random music on repeat all night on the other side of our tent till 5AM. Despite repeated requests the hotel did nothing. The “luxury tents” are fairly open to the elements which would be great with the sound of nature. Little to no sound of nature, just lots of music. Completely defeats the purposes of being in a place like this. After the first night of no sleep, the second (Friday night) was worse with a massive party pumping loud deep bass till 2AM from the club right next door to our vibrating “luxury tent”. They kindly leave ear plugs in the room. We ended up not sleeping much on our 2 night stay. Loud music and parties are fine, but not when paying $800-$1,000 per night for a “luxury tent immersed in the natural jungle”, unless it’s made very clear to guests. I would not have booked unless I wanted to party. KANVA is not luxury, you are far better off booking the K Club rooms at 50-70% less the price for the same place and experience. Go to enjoy the parties and music vibe and skip the luxury. If you’re looking for real luxury and an Ubud retreat, don’t waste your money here pay a little bit more and stay in a Capella tent or at the Four Seasons which is 1000x better value.

The logistics and arrangement were extremely easy and pleasant. Staff created a WhatsApp group upon check-in through which all requests, bookings and servicing was facilitated. Different staff members were syncing information on the background to minimize hassle and offer a pleasant experience.

There was a 48h party organized in the pool bar area of the resort for its 1year anniversary. Music was loud throughout entire night making our last night a bit uncomfortable as we couldn't sleep from the noise. This kind of events does not seem to match the overall vibe of the resort and caught us by surprise. However, the staff did their best to help along (e.g. provided ear plugs).

The tent is really well equiped and super comfortable. Being surrounded by nature and its sounds is just amazing. The staff is very professional and friendly. Also if you are on a weekend their club parties are amazing. Definitely coming back.

The jacuzzy doesnt get full with the amount of hot water they have for each tent

The property is the best when you would like to have a getaway. The scenery was breathtaking. I stayed in the tent, which was freely upgraded with a private pool. Well decorated but a bit cold overnight. The open shower to the nature was fantastic.

It was far from everywhere and the transportation only has to be arranged with club. The private tour I had was not the best. There was a delay to come, and the driver barely knew about the location we visited. The breakfast was average. The restaurant for dinner is only limited to the one in the compound, and I had a bad experience with veggie lasgna, which was undercooked and bland with a low quality cheese. The property was overpriced.
