The Wave Temple

The location is fantastic. Only a 2-minute walk from Playa de las Canteras. Marc is a great host, very friendly, welcoming and professional, and he does his best to make your stay very comfortable and memorable. I recommend this place for sure.

Location was amazing, a 5 minutes walk to the beach. Also quite close to some supermarkets and restaurants, as well as a big commercial center located 15min away. The owner were really friendly, easy communication with them through WhatsApp, the vibe was very chill. Also, they have surf board to rent for the day at quite a cheap price, which is really nice.

The apartment we had was located on the ground floor with no windows to get fresh air (expect in the bathroom). So it felt really humid (even with the dehumidifier on all day), and it's just lacking of fresh air. Also it was quite light in terms of kitchen equipment, cooking gears etc.. Other than that, perfect.

1. Location close to beach, 2. close to SPAR Supermarket. The ground floor shared shower & toilet was clean with good hot water. The Kitchen was clean & functional & the sitting/dining are was also clean & a nice place to be. As a solo traveler my stay was good value for money.

I stayed in room No2 Ground floor. 1.The elevated double bed was a first for me & I felt very unsafe climbing down the ladder in the dark. 2. No natural light or ventilation. Paint flaking off the lower wall suggesting a damp issue, plus the need to have a dehumidifier & a circulation fan running in the room. 3. I had difficulty accessing the Hostel through the front door due to lack of maintenance & needing a repair. Host was informed but door wasn't not fixed before I left to return home. (It's a real safety concern of mine , Please fix asap) This is my honest review so that the host can act on & to turn a good stay into an excellent one.

The location is perfect. Everything is nearby. Marc and David they were very helpful and when I asked for late checkout. They didn’t mind at all

The bathroom drainage needs a bit of attention and the WIFI wasn’t very strong in my room. Just a suggestion: it will be great if there is a small curtain on each bed because it creates sense of privacy.

Great location close to the beach with plenty of dining options nearby. Easy communication with the owner.

The cleanliness of the accommodation left much to be desired. The bathroom appeared to have never been cleaned, although the bedding was fresh, there was noticeable dirt under the bed. The overall furnishing seemed somewhat neglectful. In comparison to other hostels where I've stayed, where bathrooms and toilets are cleaned at least twice a day or as necessary, this fell short. It's essential for both the staff and guests to prioritize cleanliness. Additionally, the lack of warm water from the shower was disappointing.

Close to the beach, and some thoughtful amenities like lockers and drying racks.

No permanent reception, low Wi-Fi quality, bathroom way too small to be shared by 8 people and very low water pressure, and generally a bit unclean.

It was near the sea and the surf schools. The flat is with 3 rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen. Very nice as it was all very clean and nice.

The only little problem was with getting of the keys (only because of some communication problems I think, otherwise there is a locker) but we had a really nice stay, thanks!!
