Very good camping, quiet and comfortable. Mattress in the tent. Beautiful nature all around and well-kept, the staff and everyone at the campsite were very nice and helpful, :)

There is a beautiful river right next to the hostel.

There was no privacy, it was loud all night and early in the morning making it very hard to sleep. I also found the staff quite rude, and they would not let me keep my bags there after checkout.

The place was old and dirty, from the lodging to the toilets. The tents were in terrible condition and had very thin mattresses. There’s only one toilette for men and another one for women. The staff uses the kitchen as it was their living room, leaving almost no space for the guests to seat, cook and eat a meal. Some of the staff simple don’t care about the guests (I asked information to a girl working there and she almost ignored me). The water stream nearby is not save for bathing and I even saw human feces going downstream. The location is not good, far away from the center and the beach, up a hill, already inside a dodgy party of the village (favela). I paid almost 20 dollars for a night in a tent, way to much for what you get in my opinion.

O grande brilho desse camping sem dúvidas é a Eloá, que trabalha lá. Sempre disponível, com sorriso no rosto e amigável com todos. O ambiente sempre estava limpo, mas a infra estrutura deixa muto a desejar. Fquei na barraca e o travesseiro era todo sujo de ácaro. Além de não ter chuveiro elétrico no banheiro feminino, a porta do banheiro era quebrada e não tinha trinco. Os jardins são um pouco mal cuidados e lá dentro tem um acesso a cachoeira, mas essa parte é tão mal conservada, que não da nem vontade de entrar. Geladeiras muito velhas e sujas. O camping tem um potencial muito grande, apesar de ser uma subida chata até ele, poderia valer a pena pelo sossego e a cachoeira, mas precisa melhorar muito na infraestrutura

Very disappointed, the host made you feel more like an intruder than a guest. Would not recommend as after six months of travelling around South America this is the worst stay I’ve had anywhere.
