Host & Stay - Eden Cottage

Tranquil location and a sun trap hidden from other visitors to the island but right in the middle of everything

Very well equipped house and very comfortable. The decor was pleasing. Everything was clean and fresh. Lovely garden where we were able to sit out and beautiful location, just a step away from a lovely walk.

Beautiful cottage in the centre of the village. Really beautifully furnished, comfy beds and great showers!

If you're over 6 ft the bedrooms and ensuite will be a bit awkward due to the pitch of the roof.

Comfortable and very well laid out. Wonderful kitchen and the garden eating area made for a lovely sheltered and memorable evening meal with friends. Quiet, even when the tides of visitors flowed. A tucked away gem.

The cottage is amazing and very well located and equipped. Everything in the house was of excellent quality and there was plenty of kitchen crockery and glassware. The garden was at its best (in June) with flowers in bloom and little birds, bees and a hedgehog visitor. So peaceful and private. Paradise Row is an apt name for the location.

The only thing missing in the kitchen was a frying pan. The big issue for me was the communication with Host and Stay both before and during our stay. I found their repeated emails very confusing so I didn't know whether I had done everything I needed to do before our stay or not and consequently had to phone several times to clarify and confirm. In all I received 32 automated email messages about the stay and 14 of those were sent on the day before we left the property! - all containing the same message. This detracted substantially from an otherwise amazing stay.

Stunning and central location on the beautiful Paradise row, immaculate cottage with lots of wonderfully thoughtful touches. Would recommend without hesitation

Fabulous and beautiful location. Beds were great. Gardens lovely. We enjoyed the books. Furnishings comfortable and nice. Kitchen table a good size.

Dust. Dirty floors. A smell on the pillows in the king room. No fan or ability to cool down the place for comfortable sleeping in the twin room. No window that opens in that room. No frying pans except a wok. Only one cutting board and it is wooden which is nice but not sanitary.
