Hotel Villa Park Real

Villa Park hotel offers very good value. For the size of the room, with high-speed internet, and A/C, the price is more than reasonable. The location near the stadium is a 10-minute walk from the Floresta metro station. And it's a 20 or 25-minute walk from the restaurants, coffee shops, and bars of the famous Laureles area. The girls at the front desk are nice and friendly, but please know that nobody on site speaks any English. Which means that you need to at least speak basic Spanish to get by. It is close to a very busy street, though, and it can be quite noisy. Add to that the fact that quiet hours are not respected, and I had other guests drinking and talking loudly until 5:30am one night. So if you are a light sleeper, you might not always get much quality sleep.

The hotel is a good value in the Estadio neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The property is monitored by security cameras and has bars on windows. It makes it feel like a bit more dangerous place to stay.
