Vila Alegria

The location of this place is unbeatable. The check-in process is extremely smooth and easy. There is a large parking house (for a fee) not far from the place, which is convenient for those who travel around the island with a rental car. The kitchenette has basically everything you might need. The bed is comfortable.

You may hear neighbors coming and going depending on which floor your room is. However, considering that this facility is very small with very few neighbors, this is rare and only disturbing if you have very light sleep. They advertise rooms with balconies with a great view of the city, but it does not go for all rooms. You may get a room with a sort of a terrace which is rather a concrete box with absolutely no view. The staff said they were sorry for the inconvenience but they did not suggest compensating or even changing the wording of the description. (The whole point to be negative about it is that the price is the same. And previously, I stayed in a room with an indeed fantastic balcony.) The bathroom can feel / smell a bit damp and outdated, but this is not a 5-star establishment, so keep the expectations reasonable.

Ingen rengøring hele ugen. Ingen kost og rengøringsmidler, så man selv kan gøre noget. Ingen karklud eller udskiftning af viskestykke.

The apartment was neat, cozy, good service. The only thing missing was a coffee machine and an iron.
