NLThis beautiful hacienda in the olive-grove hills near the Sierras Subbeticas completely surprised us. We had a warm welcome by Dutch owners Natasja and Dirk, and their gorgeous dog, cats and horses. The setting and view were spectacular, the house and rooms beautifully designed with an incredible attention to detail and a pleasant rural touch. Beds were super comfortable, with bath ropes and shampoo etc all included. Included too was a delicious breakfast, not overdone, just a lovely selection of fresh fruit and veg for a healthy start to the day. A couple of steps down the hill was the stunning pool deck, very private and out of view of the house, with multiple lounge beds and a gorgeous pool. Throughout the property were bathrooms and bars, so you never had to go far. It's the perfect place for switching off and resting, including hiking/running nearby, various villages/towns to visit and the most amazing night sky to view. We would love to come back one day, perhaps experience it all in another season.
