Lovely 1-Bed Apartment in Glasgow Merchant City

Great location and comfortable apartment.

It’s central location. Nearby car parking. Spacious rooms.

The entry to the property is a shared entrance and to be honest it’s not clean and properly cared for. Rubbish is piled up in the yard outside. I understand that this is not the flat owners fault but it’s unpleasant. The heating in the apartment is inadequate for winter time. There are no blinds at the windows just very thin curtains. The window sashes are broken.Some of the lights don’t work. The kitchen cupboard doors around the sink are in poor condition. There was 1 dessert spoon - inadequate for 2 people! There was mould in the shower. The rail on the back of the toilet door was broken. No plug for the bathroom sink. Such a shame as this could be a beautiful apartment in the city centre. On the plus side Luca was easy to communicate with.

The location was excellent and the flat was spacious. The bedding was clean.

The apartment was in need of updating. Tiles in the bathroom need regrouting and the rail was hanging off the door. The shower switches are the wrong way around so you need to select cold for hot and off for on etc. The kitchen has very little hot water and most things were dirty especially the grill. We saw no sign of fire safety equipment, emergency instructions and no appliances were P.A.T. tested. The sash windows were broken. The shame is that with some attention this could be a great apartment.

Cute apartment, clean and good facilities. No complications for entry and easy to find. Nice restaurants virtually next door and NCP car park opposite so we could see car from the window which was reassuring.

There wasn't anything about the apartment we didn't like, only down side was the street was a bit noisy on the Saturday night but that's to be expected as its Glasgow and its the weekend. The Sunday nighy was very quiet though. To park at the NCP carpark was a bit pricey but again this is nothing to do with this lovely apartment.

No plug in bathroom sink. Only one desert spoon in cutlery drawer
