Lovely 1-Bed Apartment in Glasgow Merchant City

The living space and the kitchen were good. There were some lovely neighbours who kindly helped explain how to open the gate to access the building and accommodation.

The entry to the building was difficult to access and quite grotty. There was a lot of rubbish around the building and the spiral staircase was very steep. The bed linen was questionable. There was a lot of light coming in from outside making it difficult to sleep along with the noise from the vendors below on street level.

Location was perfect for a trip to Glasgow Barrowlands. The apartment was clean with all facilities you could need. Big roomy apartment, a few niggles but for a couple of nights it was perfect for my needs.

Light on lockbox, would have helped. Large windows and light curtains, with traffic and people noise meant sleeping in / getting to sleep was not easy.. even with earplugs. Bathroom could do with a bit of a facelift, shower was adequate but not brilliant. Tap in kitchen hot water was a trickle and took an age.. ended up boiling kettle for washing up.

Plusieurs points négatifs ont impacté le séjour : une douche difficile à régler avec des joints sales, l’absence de réponse du propriétaire concernant ce problème, ainsi qu’une odeur persistante de poisson dans la cuisine. L’insonorisation est très mauvaise et beaucoup de bruits de la rue sont audibles (voitures, camions poubelles, passants). La chambre reste éclairée toute la nuit à cause de l’absence de rideaux occultants et des lumières du restaurant situé en dessous. Le ménage semble n’avoir été fait qu’en surface : mégot retrouvé dans la chambre, peu de liquide vaisselle, aspirateur cassé et malodorant, et canapé taché.

Perfect location, apartment was spotlessly clean, all amenities were provided it was very spacious ideal for couples, we only stayed for two nights but it would be great for a longer stay in glasgow

Great location, slap bang in the middle of the city. Great amenities.
