Lovely 1-Bed Apartment in Glasgow Merchant City

Very good location to the city centre

The curtains in the bedroom could with being darker or perhaps invest in some blackout blinds. As the sun woke me up about 6am both mornings!

Great Central location. The flat contained all we needed for our stay and there was a fully fitted kitchen if you wanted to cook.

The white paintwork all over was scruffy. Doors to cupboards were precarious and the whole place needs some attention to bring it up to a better standard. Shower towels were tiny and access to the shower was very narrow.

The way in was full of overfull rubbish bins. Needed a refurb, a bit tired.

The location and the house generally was well arranged

I really want to suggest them to change the bathroom tap to a normal one cause we’re not in the 90’s anymore.. we’ve evolved and better options have been invented. It was a struggle to wash my face cause it was either too hot or too cold if I went for the other option. It honestly doesn’t even cost that much to change it. Plus the windows weren’t clean so I couldn’t take clear pictures of the view unfortunately but that’s about it

I "loved" the fact I drove 300miles to check into a property to find out that the previous occupants hadn't left yet. Check in was at 4pm... I arrived at 5pm. Had to wait ages for a cleaner to come make the bed, clean the floors and toilets etc Loved it even more when I noticed the smell of weed in the corridor, not to mention the mess just outside the door before entering. Very unsightly to say the least. I really didn't enjoy having to leave the property (when I finally got in) I was to unsettled, had missed 2 meetings given the fact I had to wait hours to even enter. I wanted to leave immediately. Not honest photos. Outside VERY grubby Pictures are attached. This is exactly how I found it upon getting into flat. Luca, kept on saying it wasn't his fault, but I'm afraid it certainly wasn't mine either. Luca, isn't getting back to booking.com as a report has been made and I expect a full refund. (I had to pay for accommodation)

As a value of money, location to public transportation and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There a loose floor tile in the bedroom to watch to. Mattress' quality, needs to be replaced.

There are loads of one word ten star reviews for this flat. There is no way it would get many ten star reviews even though it does have it's good points - good location, nice airy rooms - it needs some money spending on it. We didn't have hot water while we were there (apart from the electric shower), we had a power failure, everything is old and a bit tired... Not completely terrible just nowhere near a ten!

Sunshine floods into this flat, if you are lucky to be there when the weather is good like it was for us. That really enhances the slightly french shabby chic style of this lovely and very comfortable flat. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but there are so many great eating places very close to the flat it is too tempting to eat out for breakfast, lunch and dinner! For a city flat, it is reasonably quiet despite being so near the centre of things. In short if this flat was available next time we visit Glasgow, I would definitely book here.

The shower toilet room took shabby chic a step too far -It was clean but grubby grout and walls and a few minor repairs would make it feel much cleaner. The hot water in the kitchen was very slow so we found it easier to boil a kettle to wash up.
