Host & Stay - Iris Cottage

Well equipped, beautifully decorated cottage a 3 minute walk from Pickering's main shopping street. Parking for one car at the rear of the property in a town where public parking can be quite difficult. A Lidl and a Coop a couple of minutes walk away. All in all, a great property to stay in.

Double bedroom at the front of the property was a little noisy from traffic but certainly not too noisy.

It was a brilliant location, very clean. Been coming here for 5 years and will continue to come back.

In the twin room I think the mattresses need replacing you can feel the springs in them

The property was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It was in a central location, close to shops and with parking.

It's a matter of personal taste, but for me the property could have been given a bit more character, perhaps referencing the history or geography of the local area. The parking could have been quite tight for someone with a large vehicle as it is shared with neighbours, but we were fine with our small car.
