"Lovely house with all its quirky"

Ideal location, close to beach and relatives

Only complaint was the hinges were broken on the bedroom door, making it a bit dangerous however was fixed second day of our stay.

"Fantastic stay in a gorgeous property."

This was our second visit to Peacock House. It is a superb property with quirky, characterful furnishings and decor all done to a very high spec. We also love the location right by the attractive Victorian train station with trams to Newcastle in one direction and Whitley Bay in the other, complete with brilliant bar, 'Platform 2' and excellent Italian restaurant, 'Devanti Classico' (literally a 2 minute walk from the property). Could also hardly be more convenient for the lovely town square and beaches/ coastal walks. We will definitely be going back to Peacock House again.

Beautiful property, really well equipped, and close to the centre of the town and all amenities

Considering how incredibly well equipped the property was it would have been nice to have had some proper coffee for the cafetière, oil for cooking and logs for the wood burner! We also found the property was cold during the day, I realise it's not practical to keep it heated all day but instructions on how to turn the heating up if needed would have been appreciated!
