Lovely decorated very comfortable bed and a quilt like a cloud

The shower wasn’t clean and the property was suffering from some damp issues The recycling bin was overflowing from the last quests

Gorgeous flat, beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a great stay, amazing bathroom with old fashioned claw bath, back court with table and chairs for the good weather, very quiet area far enough away from the busy city centre but not to far out, excellent pizza place a minute away

Heating wouldn't stay on and was very cold in the living room, could do with some blankets and some heating instructions

Compact but fully functional cottage style accommodation in a terraced street, nice walk into town if you walk along the river, not as nice if you walk by road.

There isn’t much good about the property unfortunately. The area is quite run down, although it’s close enough to York centre if you don’t mind a 20-30 min walk. There is mostly everything you need here. The bathroom is clean and fairly modern.

Where to start - The WORST - I left an expensive electric toothbrush in the bedroom, and on asking the next morning it could not be located to be returned. I know I left it in the bedroom, unfortunately we were no longer near the property when I realised. It’s a shame it was either stolen or more than likely binned by their housekeeping. THEY ABSOLUTELY DID NOT CARE AT ALL. THE BED IS THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BED IVE EVER SLEPT IN. If you want a good nights sleep, don’t stay here. The rest - Cobwebs across the front door suggest no one has been in the property for a while and you could tell with the musty smell. The sofa is small and barely fits two people and it has faded stains. The kitchen is okay, it has a microwave and other general appliances. The coffee machine wasn’t working properly and judging by the crushed coffee pod inside hadn’t been for some time. The stairs are very steep and the treads narrow, difficult for anyone with any sort of mobility issues. There are patches of new plaster on the walls up the stairs and in the kitchen that have not been decorated over.
