Host & Stay - The Old Dairy

Perfect location for us to use as a base, short drives to other parts of the dales that we love. Can't get better than being next door to the black sheep brewery. Having 2 children with us, we spent our nights watching a film or playing games in the living room but the sofa wasn't very comfortable for longer than 20 minutes being sat on it. The photo showed an electric fire but there wasn't one when we arrived, this property would get a 10 if it had a more comfortable sofa and an open fire/log burner to add that coziness, although we weren't cold, the heating was on a timer and it was warm enough in the apartment. The property had everything we needed and was well equipped.

We could hear every footstep from the people above and most evenings it sounded like they were trying to get their 10,000 steps in.

Perfect having a 'home away from home' for our baby's first holiday. Lots of amenities and enough space to bring everything else we needed.

A bit fussy but partner found the beds a little uncomfortable. Also, not specific to the property, but, it is worth noting that there are two pubs right beside property which would have been ideal for food but they were constantly booked up! So guests wanting to visit them should be aware of booking in days before.
