The house was lovely, and very well prepared for us. Lots of things carefully thought through - particularly plenty of hooks around the house which are so useful. Garden also very pleasant. Great location - walking into Whitby was good exercise - and the problems of parking in Whitby itself were avoided. Also being able to explore the lovely coastline, and venture onto the moors, and especially ascend Roseberry Topping. Close to supermarkets (once we realised where they were).

Having booked through Booking.com the messages received from Host & Stay were a bit confusing / inconsistent. Description might have clarified the parking did not include access to the garage. Main omission - nothing to aid re-cycling - only one grey bin (although neighbours had re-cycling bins). Perhaps it was to avoid guests having to worry - but in today’s world, we all need to do what we can!
