Bulawayo Bradfield Retreat - 3 Bed House

Its close to Bradfield shopping centre

There was movement outside of some people we ddnt know wether they are also visitors. It was a bit uncomfortable the noise and security threat. In future probably have plans to have one bedroom with an ensuite

WiFi signal was bad bad and the shower was blocked.

Location, safety and cleanliness. The host Ruth was also great. This was my second time staying here.

It was a very pleasant stay and surprisingly close to the ZITF Ground. I strongly recommend visitors to Bulawayo stay here. Tranquility, comfortable and peaceful, plus the caretaker was really helpful. It's really worth it and provides value for money.

The location is perfect. Right in Bulawayo but away from the noise. The suburb is quiet. With a shopping cebtre nearby.

The wifi is very slow. We ended op buying a Sim card and prepaid data. There's a lot of foot traffic. The caretaker lives at the back of the property, there was always someone knocking at the gate for her, or waiting outside the gate when we pulled up. With all of that, it was quiet. There are square and round electric sockets. But they were strangely slow when charging phones. So we charged on powerbanks and in the car. The main bedroom's windows don't have latches to lock them. The location is great. There is a shopping center nearby that's not buzzing like the rest of the city. The water was lukewarm almost cold. There were 3 plastic bowls. About 2 forks. 1 knife. One chair had only 3 legs. But it was placed under the table as if it was OK to sit on. Almost fell. When we told the caretaker, she blamed the last guests. But she didn't have to put the chair as though it was stable. We.bought disposable dishes at the local grocery store.

The location was convenient. House was clean and tidy. The beds where comfortable

No coffee or milk in the kitchen, just tea and sugar. No bin in toilet, for hygiene purpose.

The lady at the cottage was very friendly, approachable and willing to help at all times. House is very clean, great location with easy access to shops and amenities. Had no trouble with power cuts. Free and speedy wifi. It was perfect. I am definitely booking again for my next trip.

Absolutely nothing, this was my perfect home away from home.

I was thoroughly impressed with the establishment, which boasted impeccable cleanliness. The inverter system performed flawlessly during load shedding, ensuring uninterrupted power. The comfortable beds, functional TV, and WiFi (with occasional minor issues) all contributed to a pleasant stay. The hot water supply was satisfactory, and the secure parking area behind a locked gate provided peace of mind. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service from the staff, particularly Ruth, who consistently went above and beyond to assist with any needs.

Wifi was having issues. The pavement by the gate needs to be fixed. Put gate motor going in and out of the car to open and close the gate it was not nice when it was raining. Cutlery was not complete. A tin open and a knife and a dishwashing cloth would be appreciated.
