Rooms were cold

Wir hatten das Familienzimmer, das sehr viel Platz bot. Auch sehr spät am Abend bekamen wir noch Bettwäsche, weil wir zusätzlich das Schlafsofa nutzen wollten. Vielen Dank für die Freundlichkeit und Flexibilität.

Very nice room with a good-sized bed with exceptional comfort, better staff you will not find anywhere else. Everything about this hotel was good. The hotel location is facing a picturesque village square full of nice character. The square has a small green and is surrounded by mainly retail and some residential buildings and a church. The village has a sense of people caring for it, the atmosphere is pleasant and people seem to happily go about their business. The check in was friendly and efficient we were told two different ways to get to our room. Before going out we went to the bar area for what we needed to be a quick meal before going out and upon walking into a busy bar restaurant area, we were not sure that we could get this. We were wrong, with particularly good helpful and friendly staff, we had our food quickly and we felt that we were placing a cheeky request, but the staff were so helpful with getting us turned around and looked after. We found the staff friendly and welcoming with an extraordinary level of customer care. One member of staff that we had not noticed came over because she saw us looking around for help, which we were but we did not see her until she came to our table to help us, even for a venue with such nice helpful staff, this really impressed us as this was a busy bar and she had customer care as her focus. This is what I would call world class five or six star customer service. When the next day came and it was time for breakfast, this stay still got better. We had a menu with very good choice, we saw different staff from the day before, but the friendly welcoming charm was still there. The service was excellent as was the food. People are good at their jobs when they take pride in and like their jobs and this was clear to us from start to finish. We would like to come back again.

The lift at the start, its nickname is the sloth, and very good reason, but ended up making me smile in the end.

The staff, especially Jason and Ciara, were so friendly. A very warm reception from them both. The room was spacious, clean, well decorated and warm. The breakfast was amazing thankyou

The room we stayed in was very large family size room. Massive bed and a single bed. Both quite high if you are small. Very comfy though. The ensuite was large with a shower. Hand rails and a seat in the shower for people with mobility problems. The breakfast choice was good for meat eaters or vegetarian.

Only the lack of topping up of shower gel, toilet rolls, clean towels and coffee sachets.
