Felt like the pictures used were completely fraudulent. The first two pictures advertising the property are perceived to be the view from the apartment when in fact the view was a derelict shop on a high street. Appreciate after the visit, they are pictures of Sale but feel like they need to be used more appropriately as it seems like false advertising. Was staying with work and genuinely felt quite harassed by calls and text messages questioning why i hadn’t checked in yet. It was a keyless check-in and the details had already been sent so felt the constant attempts at communication were unnecessary and annoying. I am a bigger person and actually struggled to get into the shower which was a great shame as that would 100% stop me from staying there again. Would also say the stairs (especially the lower level) should have a handrail as standard, you could tell how many people had held onto the wall as the white paint was showing signs of discolouring. The apartment itself was lovely, just too many flaws to considering going again.

"Okay stay, not worth the money."

Th Bridgewater at The Gathering was in a handy spot for our plans. We were attending a ceremony at Sale Town Hall.

The pre-stay information was ok but it didn’t make it clear that the accommodation was on the 2nd floor and that there are 2 internal doors to negotiate with a code, but only one code was supplied for internal access. The parking situation was less than ideal, it meant we would have either been blocked in or blocking someone else in, so we used a nearby car park, adding another £12 to the cost of our stay. Because the weather was very warm it meant the windows were open on our arrival and a fan was operating in the bedroom, this remained the case for the entirety of our stay, but location of the accommodation on the main pedestrianised street in Sale meant it was a very noisy and disturbed sleep. The accommodation was clean but finger marks in the fridge door were obvious and made us think it wasn’t hygienic. The outside of the property was less than promising, with weeds growing around the entrance and an empty cider bottle left, obviously by a passer-by. The staircase is in desperate need of hoovering, this made us wonder what we’d come to. £136 per night doesn’t constitute good value for money in this case. Even if we’d been a party of 4, the sleeping arrangements (all in one room) would’ve been rather off-putting, and the shower was ridiculously small for what was a generously sized bathroom.

The keyless entry.

Windows to all open, some locked and no keys. Very warm for the time of year.

good location

the mattress isn’t very comfortable and the wall isn’t very soundproof, our next door had parties until 2/3 am so we couldn’t slept well during that two nights

"Lovely"

Very spacious, well equipped apartment. Lovely and clean. Definitely stay there again. Beds were very comfy.

Would have been nice to have a limitless note on how to use the keypad. Also maybe a sofa would be nice.
