Excellent and relatively spacious room Excellent location: close to bus stops, and additionally the JR line is in walking distance (10min). Quite close to Nijo castle as well (15 minute walk).

Personally, I found the mattress just a little too hard (I have back issues).

Hotel ist fast neu, sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal ist freundlich... .

Das Zimmer wirkte neu, hatte aber ein vemilchtes Fenster, das sich nur 5 cm öffnen ließ...schrecklich - und das bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und bestem Fernblick in die Berge ( Zi 715 ) ....Es gab in den drei Tagen keinen Zimmerservice, kein Bettenmachen, keine Reinigung... Das Onsen ist sehr einfach und der Frühstücksraum geradezu rudimentär.... Die Auswahl zum Frühstück war für Europäer gewöhnungsbedürftig : Suppe, Salat, viel rohes Gemüse, schrecklicher Kaffee ( im Flur steht allerdings eine Kaffeemaschine mit Cappucchino, Milchkaffee etc ) und Rührei, das nicht angestockt war... Die Lage des Hotels ist ungünstig, weil immer - auch nachts - ein Bus oder gar die UBahn benötigt wird und bei hohem Andrang gar mehrfach ein Einstieg nicht gelingt...
