Quarteira Classic 1 With Pool by Homing

So easy to follow advice provided for locating property and accessing property including facilities including pool. Extremeley comfortable bed, great showering facilities. Beautiful view of sea and surrounding area. Local restaurant and cafe around the corner. Scrumptious food and excellent staff. 20 min walk to the sea for morning massage and swim followed by cafe for Portuguese tart. The people we met were very helpful. Bus stop across the road from flat.

Could supply dish washer scrubber, to ensure all utensils used cleansed thoroughly. I reported air conditioning unit leaked on 2nd day which was a trip hazard, was informed owner was informed. Someone came to property when we were out at lunch as outside doormat was moved but we weren't told reason why.

Good location to the beach and other amenities

Instruction on arrival we received two days after we got there. Causing a delay of two hours to get into the apartment. Which after 24 hours travelling from Canada was not great. Kitchen is not well equipped ie no oven mitts, poor utensils and pots. We had to request additional glasses. Described the apartment having an oven there was not oven a portable oven was brought in. Heat pump wasn’t working when we got there a tech repaired that then the air conditioner was leaking in one bedroom which was never repaired during the month stay. Shower drain was plugged causing flooding in the bathroom that had to be repaired. Maybe a change of bedding so we wouldn’t have to wash our bed cloths.Response time on queries was not prompt.

Spacious apartment, reasonably well equipped.

Not enough sockets in the kitchen for kettle, toaster, microwave, boiler, coffee machine all at the same time. The second bathroom shower head mount was broken meaning we had to hold the head when showering. En suite shower drain was very slow. Had to clean it twice to get flow. Single beds seemed to be shorter than normal.

Quiet apartment, not far from few restaurants, bars and shops.

Not great contact between the letting agent and apartment could have been cleaner.

Spacious and very comfortable. A really well equipped kitchen and a great master bedroom with en-suite. Lovely swimming pool and nice to have a balcony with a good view of Quarteira.

Very little to be unhappy about. The en-suite shower was great but didn’t drain particularly well and some of the paving outside needed replacing as it was raised but generally this is a great apartment. Would recommend.
