OYO Glyn Valley Hotel

Friendly staff with warm reception on arrival. Notified day before that boiler had broken down but informed on arrival that it had been repaired. However only hot water was available and central heating was off on a very cold evening. On request an electric fire was switched on in the dining area for our evening meal. Room was a little cramped and shower room very small. Continental breakfast was excellent with generous choice and well presented.

Clean and specious room with comfortable beds. The staff were excellent.

Great little hotel. Great selection of beers and a good menu. Very friendly and welcoming.

Hotel and staff were lovely. Only issue was I had to get something from car which was in carpark to rear of property. It was after 10 and manager had to unlock rear door for me. However beer garden and steps etc to rear had no lighting. It was very dark and I actually tripped over steps up to bridge cutting and badly bruising by hand and knees. There really should be some lighting for access to car park when dark.

Hotel in a lovely, quiet, rural location. Deceptive from the outside as it doesn’t carry the OYO branding, nor does it look refurbished. But, inside it is newly decorated and comfortable. Rooms can with a coffee machine, costs pods and biscuits. Breakfast looked ok, be we didn’t partake. We stayed in room 9. The only downside was the drains smell coming from the shower.

Great place quiet and close to places to visit

The staff was so helpful! Breakfast buffet was great. Room was spacious and comfy. Hotel is located at a quiet village. Pay attention to the driving route.

Tv reception not good.

My stay was cancelled by Oyo and I was told to contact Expedia to get a refund even though I booked through hotels.com. I am still trying to sort this.
