"It was a pleasant surprise to find ourselves conveniently located to the Boardwalk and the beach."

It is at the end of the Boardwalk, so it is conveniently located to access the oceanfront, but not in the midst of the noise and commotion of the Boardwalk. It was very clean and the staff was friendly.

We weren't aware that the Dunes hotel had been sold to Holiday Inn, so we were surprised when we found ourselves in the motel portion of the former hotel. It had been newly renovated, so the accommodations were fine, but we had failed to notice the word SUITES attached to the word Dunes. With all the new hotels in the area, the price was a bit high for the age of the building and lack of amenities within the facility itself.
