Dinasty Hotel

We booked this hotel due to a YouTube influencer. I wished I had stay somewhere else. We had too many issues: hole in the wall next to AC, mosquitoes in room, towel had a huge hole, walls where very scratched, step to bathroom is a liability, humidity container on top of vanity was very visible, cracked tile in bathtub, music at night was too loud. Brenda’s service was great.

I enjoyed the views of the mountains and also it wasn’t far from a walk to the local park or the malecon .Now on the other end of the spectrum , some updates can be made to a few things!, With that being said I would stay here again !!

It was great and so up-to-date. Even the menu for the rooftop restaurant is not printed - but accessible on phone by using QR Code which is at every table and in every room. Unfortunately, in Spanish only - they do need an English translation! The rooftop restaurant has a good selection and a bar with a wide selection of drink including premium brands. The restaurant has extended hours from early to very late at night and offers room service. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Lighting was excellent - far better than most places. Nice work area for a laptop. The fridge was handy and very cold. The bathroom was really good and one of the best showers I've seen in many travels. Everything was squeaky clean. I speak a little Spanish and that helped me get by - along with Google Translate on my phone. The only downside for me was the lack of elevator. My room was 2nd floor, but it seemed like they had extra steps to get there :-) Then the restaurant was another set of steps up to the roof. For an old man the steps were no blessing - for someone a bit younger they shouldn't even be an afterthought. The location is great and easy walking distance to almost everything.

The hotel is in a great location and is reasonably priced. The beds are also very comfortable. Unfortunately the windows do not close fully and the street is very noisy, and there is a bar attached to the hotel that plays loud music very late.
