Zans Apartments Cusco

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to helping us with taxis at the right price and storing out gear while we travelled. We stayed here twice, once with our children and were upstairs. This was a better option as the room near the entrance did not have external windows and the automatic light came on every time someone came in the entrance, lighting up the internal windows in the bedroom. Having a delicious breakfast brought to your room complete with fresh juice and excellent coffee was a bonus.

Breakfast was very good with freshly made bread, scrambled eggs and fruits along with freshly made orange juice. On days we have to leave early, she prepared to suit our times. Very friendly host.

The hot water is not great. Hopefully they're going to fix this issue soon. There is no air conditioning. We were ok as its not too hot when we went there.

Milagros was an outstanding host, providing us with a great stay at her place, including breakfast every day, informing us about what to visit in town, where to eat, and even arranging a free taxi ride to the airport as part of our stay.

Just phenomenal. Everything about this place is wonderful. Staff is easy to communicate with. The attention to detail is so appreciated. It's so clean and quiet. My Goodness, the beds are soft and comfortable. Having split rooms with a group was great. I would highly recommend this place. I couldn't say one bad thing about it.

Check in was a bit confusing as the girl answered the door didn’t seem to be expecting us, she later explained there was some mixed up. The situation quickly improved once we met the owner Milagros, she’s attentive and communicated well with us in English. Breakfast was delivered to our room, and she got the lock problem resolved quickly. She even got up at 5:30am on our departure day to help with our luggages. There is no elevator now but Milagros said she’s putting one in and should be available next year. Overall a good stay, nice and clean 2 bedroom apartment, good for us traveling with 2 adult children.

Very nice and very helpful service. Hot water and warm down duvets, and even heating. Rooms spacious and clean. Teas and coca leaves available. Good breakfast. Possibility to leave luggage and help in organizing a taxi. In the nearby location shops, pharmacies, laundries.

Milagros was a superb host . She and her team provided a lovely (basic) breakfast daily with fresh orange juice and coffee which was personally delivered and set out in the apartment Her apartment was within 10-15 mins walk of the centre of Cusco and had a small supermarket and delicious pizzeria within 50 steps of the apartment. I would highly recommend the accommodation. It was comfortable and clean with good hot water, microwave, basic kitchenette and wifi. I dont think that if you are looking for apartment type accommodation (versus the amenities/ higher price you may get from a hotel) you could find anywhere better. We will definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to travel to Cusco again. Thankyou Milagros for an amazing stay.

There was no actual formal sitting area which some may find a downside, we did not.

The apartment was clean and had a wonderful hot shower. There was a plug in heater. It is close to the San blas market for wonderful fresh squeezed juices and huge sandwiches 😊
