The staff was very rude there was ment to be a breakfast included, but told us we had to pay for it very very loud for such a rule area very rude staff felt like we was an inconvenience

Staff made us and our dog feel special, incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was excellent. Room size was good and very good shower. They are rooms in a pub so a little noise from other rooms and flat upstairs.

Never has the landlady, Sam and her staff made us feel more at home. It really is like travelling from your home into hers. She went above and beyond looking after me and my family during our short stay. Hospitality at its greatest. Thanks again!

The staff were very accommodating and welcoming and nothing too much trouble A nice place but in need of a deep clean We expected it to be a good standard but it had carpets that needed a good clean and walls covered in scuff marks that could have been easily removed with a bit of effort The room we stayed in had been renovated to a good standard but basic things like a toilet roll holder and a bin for sanitary items in the bathroom were missing, the only mirror in the room was in the bathroom and difficult for my husband to shave as it was high up and impossible to get close to. No coat hangers for clothes ( rectified on request) We were staying for 4 nights and h as d nowhere to sit other than on the bed A couple of chairs would have been comfortable The food was good quality with generous portions but the breakfast choice was limited It would have been nice to have had an option of pastries, fruit and yoghurts rather than just 3 cooked options Overall a nice stay but not up to the standard we are used to as regular hotel/Inn visitors

Lovely room but only 2 hangers in it & it was v v noisy but this was from the busy road outside!! although secondary glazed!!! Take your ear plugs. A lovely warm welcome, made a big fuss of our dog too. Great spacious car park.

Lovely Gastro pub and the food was AMAZING ! Facilities were excellent and so was the room, however it was a little tired and grubby which let it down and the traffic noise kept me awake at night.

Very nice room and bathroom, newly refurbished. Warm welcome, delicious breakfast. We liked the 9-10am serving time. Disappointed the bar closed at 9.30pm. Dogs welcomed nicely, despite having failed to book them in when making the reservation.

Sam and her team who run the place could not have been any more welcoming it was perfect

We used a number of hotels on our trip, and this one had the best breakfast of them all. The hotel and rooms are nice, the staff are great and it's very dog friendly. We look forward to staying again some time.
