Bloom Boutique l Chelon Haveli

L'hôtel est particulièrement sympathique, installé dans une haveli au coeur de Jaipur, à quelques pas du City Palace et du Palais des vents. Le bâtiment est ancien et l'établissement est nimbé d'un charme patrimonial : fontaine, vitraux, frises... Nous avons apprécié cette note de fraicheur et de calme dans une ville par ailleurs active et bruyante. Le service en chambre est efficace et nous avons apprécié également la présence d'un restaurant au sein de l'établissement, proposant une cuisine indienne typique.

Les chambres ne sont pas sonorisées et la lumière du couloir pénètre dans les chambres. Le charme de l'ancien ... Le mode de fermeture et d'ouverture des portes (cadenas) n'est pas très pratique.

This is a beautiful property tucked just outside the busy area of Jaipur. The property still has its beautiful charm from its hay day but with all you need for your stay in the city. The location was what made it special as you left the madness behind for a tranquil rest. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Great location next to City Palace. Accessible to all main sights and old town bazaars. Great old Haveli building with elevator. Comfortable beds. Good size rooms. Nice authentic haveli decor. Really good place to stay and good value for money.

Breakfast was disappointing. It was adequate but easily could add a few low cost options to improve. No TV in room. Front desk boys some were good others were not as engaging. Other staff were excellent.

The location is unique, within walking distance of the city palace. Genuine heritage building and friendly staff. Some rooms more spectacular than others. All in all an excellent choice for the price.

The breakfast is so so, there's a café nearby with better choice.

We had a fantastic stay at Bloom Boutique l Chelon Haveli. The hotel beautifully combines a historic haveli atmosphere with a very modern and professional standard inside. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff was professional and attentive, and the overall organization of the hotel was excellent. A perfect blend of heritage architecture and contemporary comfort. Highly recommended.

Location

Check-in took about 25 minutes, and most of my cards didn’t work with their machine (though they worked everywhere else during my trip). The location was excellent, but the rooms felt dated (understandable given the building is 290 years old) and quite dusty. My room only had a window in the bathroom, and the hot water ran out after about 5 mins. They won’t clean your room unless you leave the keys at the reception and ask for cleaning. Breakfast was simple but fine, it’s managed separately so you need to pay immediately (₹570). I also didn’t have a good experience with the driver the hotel recommended (Rajat). I had booked him for 3 days with a set itinerary, but he repeatedly ignored my plans and kept insisting on visiting “factories” instead. Communicating with him was tiring and stressful, so on the 3rd day I switched to Uber – a much smoother and more reliable option. Rajat might suit travellers without fixed plans, but it didn’t work for me. I also took Uber to travel intercity, and it was great (you can pre-book in advance).
