Fiddler's Restaurant and Resort

Cute little cottage in quaint little fishing town. We always love visiting Steinhatchee. The resort has a restaurant and food was great. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed the coffee and the conversations! We will be back!

Property was not as described. Outside property was dangerous! When we saw the condition of the property we immediately called the property manager. We were told we would be refunded for half our stay. We left immediately after talking to the property manager and after a month we have not been refunded anything.

Very cozy and clean. Super easy check in

This is definitely not a place for anyone expecting anything above very basic accommodations. Rustic and minimalist as well as small. It was clean and beds comfortable however spillover noise from the bar/restaurant was loud and bothersome well into the night. The staff was friendly but a bit overwhelmed for check in and we were disappointed in dinner. As this area recovers from what was obviously severe impacts of the Helene hurricane, we wish them well.

Love this place and the people. Very kind and considerate. Wish they had toothpaste. We forgot ours. They have shampoo, conditioner and lotion though.

Bring your roach spray. I grew up in Florida. Palmetto roaches are a common thing, but when you book and pay money for a room to see them actively should not happen. There was a dead one by my nightstand by the wall. We were settling in to bed and one ran across the floor. I couldn't reach it to kill and it crawled behind the cabinetry. The next morning when I woke up the first thing I saw was a palmetto roach crawling on the ceiling above the bed. It finally crawled down toward the wall where I could reach to kill it. Otherwise I have been to Steinhatchee several times. It is a quaint get away. This is my first time staying at Fiddler's. They have a good restaurant across the street from the room.

Area still has hurricane damage but the resort had everything you need for a fun stay! Will be back.

This place was amazing full bar and restaurant with live music, the staff was awesome!
