Ora Retreat

Great Lake view, very welcoming hosts, Queenstown within easy reach, comfy bed, super clean and loved the communal kitchen …a first for us but really enjoyed swooping travel experiences with fellow guests. It all works in a surprisingly great way.

The view was stunning, the place was private and cozy, and home two 3 legendary dogs (shoutout Dusky). Shared bathroom and kitchen facilities were clean and hardly ever busy. Breakfast was sufficient and a nice touch. Kaari and Paul were super welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, and were willing to go above and beyond for everyone there. Optional free morning yoga and lake swims were a plus if that's your vibe. Yes it's a short drive out of the main city, but with a hire car it was no problem at all to find free parking when we felt like travelling in - there is also a bus that leaves right out the front if needed. Overall, the best place my partner and I have stayed throughout our NZ trip. Cheers Kaari and Paul! - Harry and Steph

Nette und warmherzige Gastgeberin. Saubere Zimmer. Ruhige Lage. Viel Ausstattung wie in einer WG.

Organisation anfangs etwas unklar. Bad könnte etwas mehr abgestaubt sein.

Host was really nice and kind. The terrace is impressive.

It would be nice to have an additional toilet available.

Beautiful view across lake, incredibly friendly vibe, charming rooms, lovely garden and an exceptional host.

幸运的选择。一次令人难忘的入住体验，让我和先生的皇后镇之旅锦上添花。驾车5分钟到市里，宽敞舒适的共用大厅，厨房，花园，让人不局限于自己的房间，可以和来自各国的旅客交流。整个院子面向湖波，室外木阳台宽敞而舒适。早上在大厅练瑜伽，房东kaali女士还弹奏一曲钢琴。最难忘的是房东的友好和热情，还有我们居住的森林小屋。希望能有机会再去体验。
