Motel by Maier Götzis- kontaktloser Check-in

Chambre propre et agréable bien située. Un peu cher pour la ville. Personne à l'accueil on peut vite se retrouver bloqué si on ne trouve pas

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. When we arrived we couldn’t checkin with the automated system which was a hassle. When we got a hold of someone on the phone and finally got into our room, it was the dirtiest room I’ve ever seen (stains and shaved hair absolutely covering the bathroom sink, dirty underwear on the floor, dirty dishes in the kitchen, etc). When we called the desk, they moved us into a room that was basically in an active parking lot on the ground floor, so we couldn’t open our windows at night (and often found beer bottles on the windows in the morning). We were double charged and had to go through a huge hassle to get that solved. Start to finish this was a terrible stay, that said, it’s conveniently located and we heard the Business side of this hotel was much better than the Maier side.

Very good location. Clean room, comfy bed.

The self-checkin didn't work for me and also for another traveller who tried to check-in at the same time. We had to call the point-of-contact for.the property who arranged the check-in via phone.

Nothing is good

The communication is horrible. This is the most ridiculous experience I have ever had in my life. Only 1 hour before check in, I was informed that the hotel is overbooked and I will be transfer to another hotel for the same price, which is 20 minutes by bus from the original one. When I arrived, I was charged 55 Euro more than the price I booked. No one is at reception and no one is on phone.

It was very central. The room was clean and spacious. It also offered a large TV with Netflix.

The room was very loud. On the ground floor, you can hear cars just rushing next to the window. Also, if you open the window, anyone could look inside. I think this wouldn't be a problem on the upper floor.
