"15 Ellis House, Kilmarnock, Donnini Apartments ."

I was moved to 15 Ellis House ( Donnini Apartments) due an issue at The Barclay Apartment. The communication was excellent throughout and the staff could not be more helpful. 15 Ellis House is well located within Kilmarnock being a short walk to town. It is very comfortable and well equipped and I couldn't fault anything at the premises. During my stay I was contacted by Andy from Donnini making sure everything was as it should be and was anything else needed . Again excellent communication.

The location was great close to shops and amenities. The apartment was cosy, comfortable, and very clean. It had everything I needed for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The staff were also very helpful and responsive.

The neighbour took my parking space and wouldn’t let me park, which was a bit stressful. However, the office staff handled the situation quickly and professionally.

Large, comfortable apartment centrally located close to amenities. Private parking.

No kitchen welcome pack (dishtowel, sponge, washing up liquid etc) on arrival. Had to go to Morrisons to get basics so we could clean up after eating. Fixtures and fittings in generally poor condition. Mouldy shower ceiling with rusty metal sticking out of shower wall. Broken bath panel. Broken kitchen tap. Lack of cutlery (only 3 x forks). Dirty and dusty floor underneath furniture in living room. Stains on bedthrow. Heavily stained carpet metal straps at doorways to bedrooms. Broken bathroom door lock. Broken bedroom door facing. Noise in second bedroom, when raining you can hear dripping in the interbal drainage downpipe which disturbs sleep. Cracked and dirty crockery and cookware - everything had to be cleaned before use. Loose and poorly fitted toilet seat. Broken and poorly mai tained bedroom furniture - bedside table lids loose and chest of drawers drawer bases were collapsing. Wardrobe doors didn't close completely.

"Exceptional"

A short walk to town, opposite a supermarket, and a 2 minute walk from an EV charge point made this a really convenient location. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped, and quiet. The owners were very attentive and quick to respond to messages prior to and during our stay.
