Tarzan Marriott On Penida

Location was ok and breakfast was ok but needed more selections and possibly fruit. Not enough.

It was nothing like the photos. It was run down, the room was very sterile and not warming, hot water didn't last long, drains filthy with a rank smell and plugs broken. Just wasn't pleasant. There are extra large extremely steep steps to go up. The pool light had come off the wall and was hanging by the cable on the bottom. Wasn't a pleasant experience.

Such an amazing family run guest house, such an amazing and friendly family! We loved the exclelent food (chickjen curry was insane), the fantastic location, just off the main road but it felt like we were in the mountains amongst the palm trees. The location is walking distance from to the bars, restaurants and dive schools, but when we needed to go further the resort were gvery happy to drop us off and pick us up for a small fee. Would 100% recomment this little gem.

Allowing smoking in the bar/ restaurants, while guests are eating is not ideal... but understand this is hard to manage!

Everything! After my first night at Tarzan I immediately knew I wanted to stay for my entire time on Nusa Penida and rebooked immediately. The owners and family, all of the staff, everyone affiliated with the property are incredibly lovely humans. You can't not be happy here. Beautiful location off the main road with jungle vibes, fantastic pool and brilliant, gorgeous, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast is DELICIOUS, now I am addicted to their cheesy omlette! The rest of the menu for lunch and dinner equally delicious and in day/night is open as sports bar with big TV streaming sport events and great drink menu selections. Arik made me one of the best margaritas I've had on the island. Many thanks to Tarzan Marriot, I will be back! 🙏🤠💚

Everything was perfect. The staff is super helpful (I never saw a staff that nice with us!). It was super easy to rent a scooter. The room was clean. Again, the staff is adorable, they will do everything they can to help you with any trouble you may have!

There is hot water, but don't take a long shower or it will get cold, not a big deal. The wifi was not available in our room but works perfectly on the balcony and in the lobby/restaurant.

Room size was big, pool well finished and a tropical feel, staff were amazing Ac worked well hot showers comfy bed sports bar Location near alotnof beach clubs and dive center

Bathroom could have been cleaner ( needs new paint and new fittings .. so where to hang your towel Nothing to do with the hotel but power went a lot when we were there and is very annoying Location is good but you stilll NEED a scooter or hiring someone to drive you - roads aren’t safe for walking

Fawcett sprayed water everywhere, only 2-3 minutes of hot water, no railing on balcony, pool uninviting and broken pieces, overpriced food at restaurant and rides to/from Port, location not amenable to walking to restaurants etc. Overpriced for what it was.
