"einmalige Anlage in einem alten Dorf, ein absolutes Highlight unserer Reise"

Die ganze Unterkunft ist absolut außergewöhnlich. Man muss das Auto auf einem Parkplatz abstellen und wird dann per Quad inkl. Gepäck abgeholt und auf einer abenteuerlichen Fahrt über einen schmalen Weg am Steilhang zum Hotel gefahren. Die traditionellen Steinhäuser sind urgemütlich mit überdachter Terrasse und Grillmöglichkeit und innen modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Man wohnt völlig abseits und in kompletter Ruhe. Die Betreuung besonders durch Beto ist immer hervorragend, wir denken gern an ihn zurück. Er hat uns auch immer pünktlich die exotische Sauna angeheizt, die direkt neben unserem Haus war. Zum Abendessen muss man immer über einen schmalen Pfad am Hang zur nächsten Faja (Bucht) wandern. Dort waren wir meist bei Ricardo in einem einfachen, urigen kleinen Restaurant. Gutes Essen und super Gastgeber, man ist bei ihm immer willkommen. Nach dem Essen geht es dann mit der Taschenlampe zurück zur Unterkunft.

Die beiden Pools sind aus Sicherheitsgründen sehr flach, so dass man nur plantschen und nicht richtig schwimmen kann.

La localisation est absolument magique, le personnel sympathique et la maison très confortable. A 30 minutes de marche sur un très joli sentier, on atteint un village avec 2 délicieux restaurants. Expérience unique garantie !

Son atout est peut être sa principale contrainte: son isolement relatif puisqu’il est accessible en qwad ou apres 3,5 km de marche uniquement.

"Slice of heaven on São Jorge island"

This property is in a special part of the island. The houses maintain the integrity of the culture and original structures, made only more special by the owners and team. Stellar folks. Fresh bread delivered daily, views that are unimaginable and service and care that feels personal (only a text message away). Don’t hesitate to book a stay here. I travelled solo and felt right at home (and safe).
