Not at all what i expected the house was been painted for the new season . No tv in the room no breakfast other than cereal and tea and i left after first night .

Lovely quiet property near the centre of town. Very friendly hosts. Thank you

Firstly the house was easy enough to find, but trying to get a car park was a joke. There is no parking onsite as stated in the add. When i discussed this with the owner, she happily said if we couldnt find street parking that she or her husband would their car for us. Well we couldnt find parking and said to the owners husband that the site lists parking, and he stipulated that it states street parking which it clearly does not and no they would not move their cars as previously said. They expect guest's to park down the end of the street 300m away and thats if you find one!. There was the shortest double bed, and yes a shared bathroom with shared toiletries that we left in th shower! ( thank goodness i had my own!) I also dont think its safe to sleep with a full plugged in kettle right next to my head. The property is impossible to get luggage up. The multiple staitcases are super narrow and the owners worried about their flooring/walls instead. The owners do seem nice enough but maybe need to work on the parking situation or bnb management strategies.

Hosts were friendly. Bed linen clean. Property info sheet could do with a new cover bearing in mind Covid. Didn’t realise I would have to share a bathroom.

** This venue advertises that it has free on site parking, it does NOT, there is only street parking (which is not plentiful).** Nice greeting and got shown to double room on 1st floor, which was okay. Shared bathroom was okay. Window in room looking out to garden was dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned recently. Only 2 plug sockets in room, which could be accessed. Breakfast included in price was choice of cereal and toast, fruit juices and hot drink, which I arranged to have at 0715 am.

Well, the house has no signage to indicate where the property is, so can only be found on house numbers? The greeting was very good and was made welcome. We were informed that we had the owner’s bedroom. The bedroom furniture look worse for wear. The drawers were full of the owners personal contents. Dust all over the place? I can understand that all the bedrooms had shared bathrooms. These were dirty/dusty and full of the owners personal things. Showers had a lot of mould around the edges and did not look very inviting? Breakfast being continental was okay. Personally I would not recommend it to anyone, and will not go back, but that is my opinion.
