Unterkunft war total in Ordnung. Eileen als Gastgeber war überaus freundlich. Frühstück war reichlich und lecker, frisch zubereitet - typisch englisch.

It's a very comfy BnB within 10 minutes walk to the railway station, ferry terminal, bus station and the city center with a lovely proprietor and tasty breakfast. Add to that very reasonable price and I can recommend it to anyone who needs a stay in Aberdeen.

A warm welcome from a dedicated host, and clean comfortable accommodation is what a visitor used to expect in a quality Aberdeen guest house. Thankfully Roselodge still delivers those aspects and more. Eileen the host puts you at ease with her relaxed conversation while the feel of the guesthouse further assures me of efficient and experienced management. Rooms are spotless and retain a freshness through what must be a thorough cleaning regime. The bed was comfortable and my sound sleep was undisturbed. The room has a large sink, allowing the guest to freshen up. The Scottish breakfast is a delicious offering of quality bacon, sausages, eggs, tattie scone, tomato, and beans (if you like them at the start of a day..). Eileen is clearly an able cook and each item is presented perfectly, and served alongside toast and preserves, fresh juice, and a pot of tea - an ideal start to the day. I’m sure the kind host would be happy to accommodate any dietary needs with notice. I was lucky enough to be there when Eileen decided to bake and I came back after a day of work to find a couple of scones, butter and jams beside the kettle in my room. Excellent 5* service.

Roselodge retains much of its original character, and although it has that charm shared bathroom facilities is an aspect that the guest needs to be aware of. No issues from me though.
