Shiraz Cave Cappadocia

It is so important that I adequately express how perfect this stay was. The communication prior to arriving was exceptional and took all the guesswork out of the equation. Arriving at the Shiraz Cave was so exciting when approaching this beautiful place with the many colorful umbrellas adorning the patio leading to our most amazing room/cave that predates Jesus himself. But even more spectacular than all that was the greeting from Berat, the son of the family that owns this slice of heaven. I am not even going to try to put into words the warmth, kindness, and above and beyond service showered upon us. As much as we love being in Turkey, we love the Turkish people even more, and Berat and his family exemplify that many times over. Our room was unique and wonderful in every way. We were only a couple of minute walk from the town center and the castle. Berat helped us with everything about our stay. The breakfast each morning was definitely world-class. Sitting on one of the several patios while having tea or wine was totally peaceful. There are so many more wonderful things we can say about our stay but just know that you will love the experience of staying at the Shiraz Cave. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

L'ospitalità dei proprietari, in particolare il figlio del proprietario, Berat ❤️, sono solo la ciliegina sulla torta di questa location. Un hotel scavato interamente nella roccia ai piedi del castello di Ortahisar, che rende l'atmosfera veramente magica. La stanza che abbiamo prenotato noi non era gigantesca ma comunque molto accogliente. Il bagno molto grande. Le colazioni erano davvero buone ed abbondanti e la terrazza perfetta per rilassarsi la sera. Posizione ottima per visitare la Cappadocia, compresa Göreme che dista a soli 10 minuti di auto, senza però essere immersi nel caos di Göreme.

Purtroppo nel wc non si può gettare la carta ma bisogna riporla in un cestino posto a lato (che non viene svuotato quotidianamente)

Die weg bis goreme war weit jeden Tag mussen wir 10 Euro für Taxi bezahlen ansonste mussen wir bis stadt 2 stunde zu fuss gehen

Si trova ai piedi di un paesino molto tranquillo, c'è una pace davvero rara e magica. Il posto è tenuto benissimo, la camera nella grotta suggestiva, ampia e accogliente, lo staff davvero dolce e attento. Perfetto se si vuole visitare la cappadocia senza il turismo eccessivo di goreme. Tra poco sarà pronta anche una piscina che renderà il tutto ancora più speciale. Non perdetevi la chance di passare qualche giorno qui. Ps. La colazione tipica turca era davvero abbondante e salutare

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν υπέροχο. Το δωμάτιο δροσερό δεν χρειάζεται air-condition. Το προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό και εξυπηρετικό.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights, easy to check in and checkout. There are parking places near. Hotel located very close to the center and castle. Cave rooms were amazing, stylish and cozy. Enough space for 3 of us, comfy beds. Simple but sufficient breakfast. We loved our staying, thank you for this amazing experience.

Think soundproofing is the general problem in Turkey, so you can hear your neighbors in case they are loud. Sewer Smell outside and around the rooms. Construction of the pool during the day: it is impossible to sleep cause of drilling sounds
