Food was about average, I think the menu could be improved. Everything else is a 9 out of 10

The value for money proposition doesn’t work for this property. The service is poor, the breakfast is terrible, and the location is relatively far from the square where all the activity is. Also, my balcony and whirlpool were strange, and dangerous. I can not recommend until they fix some of these issues.

If you do not mind having so many insects around and noise at 4 or 5 am, then this hotel is perfect. The views are amazing but it looks more like a fancy glamping. The only bad thing, was the check in, the most rude and unpleasant receptionist. I can manage sone harmless insects but such an unprofessional person, bo way. That’s not what expect in Colombia

A fantasic getaway with my wife. We enjoied the location, the professionalism of the staff, and atmosphere of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with incredible views, close to town square

Nos quedamos en las cabañas premium. La vista es excelente y tienen Jacuzzi. Muy lindas con excelente vista. Lo que es MUY malo es el desayuno. Inclusive la persona q atendía en el desayuno tenía mala actitud. Las opciones de desayuno son muy pocas ( huevos o yogur) y solo 1 café. Terminamos comprando desayunos extras que también son muy malos. Una lástima x q el lugar es precioso pero el desayuno le baja la vara

Should start with the positives. The hotel is in a great location to access the centre of town without being in the busy and noisy centre. It also has a lovely view over the valley behind (if you stay in one of the cabins) and a view of the town church up the hill. The room was also perfectly clean and tidy. Unfortunately though it felt quite expensive for what you get. 1. First and foremost - NOISE. We appreciate that the hotel can’t control the outside noise, but with guard dogs next door barking until 3am and religious services with PA systems at 6am, you’d imagine some double glazing and sound insulation would be a good idea. Unfortunately though it sounds like you’re sleeping on the side of the road. You can hear every word outside and even in adjacent rooms. Over 5 night we probably had an average of 4 hours sleep. 2. Breakfast is poor. We tried it once and it was pretty low quality. You’ll find much better in various places in town. 3. Guests staying in the main building are not allowed to access the entire grounds of the hotel. The valley near the separate cabins is ‘off limits’ for other guests. 4. Rooms are small in comparison to other options. Combined with the fact you can’t access the entire grounds, there’s not a lot of space at the hotel to relax at all. 5. At the risk of sounding like a spoiled tourist, and noting that we only possess a basic level of Spanish, it felt like absolutely no effort was made to assist with our stay. No introduction to the room or the hotel itself and very dismissive conversations with front of house. We felt like a burden as paying guests. Our presence seemed to cut into time spent on the phone and talking with colleagues. We fully appreciate that some of these factors remain outside of the hotel’s control, but all combined it made for a very frustrating experience and not one we could recommend.
