Excellent accommodations. The owner and staff were exceptional. Interesting tour of the Duff Green mansion. Nice breakfast.

In honor and respect of the Duff Green mansion in Vicksburg, there should be a Confederate flag displayed somewhere. The Duff Green mansion is about history, not a means to rewrite a liberal, woke interpretation.

Beautiful room! So clean! Bed so comfotable! Furnishings were like classic antiques!

The room was nice. The breakfast was very good. And the wine social in the afternoon was great

Had to travel to another home for all events. The area was a bit rough but, the facilities were nice

The location was good. Only a few blocks from the river and restaurants. The room was nice and clean. No thermostat to adjust the temperature and it was in the 40s when we got up. Small heater in the room but it did not put out much heat. Communication was mainly by text but with a number to call if you had a problem, so not much interaction with the staff. After breakfast was treated to a talk about the history of Duff Green Mansion that was interesting.

Was not impressed with the "3-course" breakfast. First course was a small bowl of fruit (good) and a biscuit that was overdone. 2nd course was a small slice of quiche, a small mound of a potato dish that looked like potato salad, two very small pieces of bacon, and a piece of lettuce with a tomato slice on top. The quiche and potato were bland. The 3rd course was ( I kid you not) about an inch square of pound cake with whipped cream on top.

The rooms were themed which was fun amd there was a lovely lounge area. Breakfast was a highlight

Everything was good

The bed have bed bugs. If you stay there for one night, you might not notice that but if you stay for a few nights, you will end up after four days or five days with full of bed bugs marks all over your body. I mean a lot

Price, hospitality, local to historic landmarks, and is one also! Clean, bug free, values privacy.

The hot water could be a little hotter in the shower and a little more pressure. Not being able to attend more of their FABULOUS BREAKFAST, due to scheduling conflicts.

Stunning historical property, amazing hot breakfast served in a beautiful dining hall under a chandelier , comfy bed and wonderful guided tour of the Old House And an incredible price

When traveling we have no data so received no messages about checking in so had to wait a bit in the rain whilst we got sorted. There is no one at Halpino to do this as they are in a different building.
