Duplex With sea and Mountain Views, Casa do Castelo

This property is excellent. Spacious, well equipped and what a fantastic view!! It is on a very steep incline which was at times exhausting in the heat or after a long day exploring but that’s Madeira for you! It was lovely to come back on the evening and enjoy a drink on the balcony and enjoy the view. There was 5 in our party, 3 out of the four adults felt that we could have done with either plumper pillows or the option to have more because the ones we had was very shallow and at times uncomfortable but luckily sleep was aided by plenty of fresh air and exercise. We would highly recommend this apartment. It was a very enjoyable stay and Funchal is a lovely base. Try to eat where the locals go because the food is often excellent and much cheaper.
