Elia Boutique Hostel: A Gem in Tbilisi I'm typically a hostel person, drawn to the opportunity to connect with travelers from diverse backgrounds. Elia Boutique Hostel exceeded my expectations in every way. The hostel itself is a charming old Georgian house that oozes character. It's clear that a lot of care has been put into preserving its original features while providing modern comforts. Elina and the rest of the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. While I opted for a private room, the hostel also offers shared accommodations, providing a perfect balance of privacy and social interaction. The location is convenient, with easy access to the city center. I wholeheartedly recommend Elia Boutique Hostel to anyone visiting Tbilisi. It's more than just a place to stay; it's an experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at Elias Hostel. Elia is very friendly and takes care of the guests. With all the curtains between the beds it didn’t feel like I sleep in a dormitory - that was great! The bed was really comfortable. Thank you!

"Good if you want to live in the middle of nowhere in a nice big house."

8.0

Very very clean, good design, tastefully done and great staff. The house is big, the garden is lovely with pomegranates in the garden. 😍 A very lovely place to meet people, the kitchen is super clean and the owner is a cleanliness freak which is good.

1 shop and 1 restaurant close by, everything else is really far. There is no aircon in the female room while it says there is when I checked on booking.com. This wasn’t a problem for me but it was for the neighbour. The owner is a control freak and she was getting on my nerves by asking annoying questions or making strange comments over and over as if I was a child. She thought that if I speak Russian she can make weird comments and just not give me my personal space sometimes. For example, she asked me to move from female room to a mixed room on the first night as they had overbooked and she kept saying how good it will be in the mixed room and how the other woman who arrived after me demands to stay in the female room. I said that was alright. The next day a guy from my mixed room left a very bad smell in the bathroom after using it and she started repeatedly saying people need to press the ventilation button, but she didn’t say it to him as he left, she kept saying it to me as if I was a child. That had nothing to do with me. During the day there is no aircon in the rooms and common areas so it can get steamy. The next day I was working online sitting on the floor and she kept saying that it will be better for me to sit on the sofa. Insisting… I said I was comfortable a few times but she kept insisting. Very annoying. The next day I went to a different common room where there was no one and was working on my laptop, she opened the door and started asking me why I was there… this woman needs to relax… just take a chill pill man… I told her I was working, she asked why there… I told her cuz there’s no one there and I need to work! She finally left. I left after that, this is way too much to take. She’s very rude with her workers! Seems to be nice but she is very annoying at times. People like that should live alone.

Elia is an amazing host and the hostel is so convenient. It’s walking distance to a number of restaurants, shops and the cathedral. It’s also a fairly quick walk to old town and maybe 30 minutes to Liberty Square. Elia can give you lots of options for food, sites or whatever you’re into. The hostel itself is charming. Lots of communal spaces to meet and hang with other guests. I booked a private room which was very nice. There’s a fridge in the room and a/c so you can calibrate everything to your liking. Just a heads up that you can hear if people are chatting on the patio but given it’s a hostel hopefully you’re hanging with them! If not, Elia does a great job of making sure the noise is kept to a decent degree and doesn’t go super late.

It's like a palace, very interesting and visually appeasing interior design. Staff was super nice and helpful. Beds were comfy as well.

Location is a bit off center, but there are some interesting places to see nearby as well.

"Beautiful interior & wonderful host"

The interior is amazing. Eliana is a friendly & bubbly host, she fits very well in the interior! Also she recommended one of the best restaurants I ate in Georgia. Quiet neighbourhood too.

It’s a little far from center, but luckily Bolt exists :)
