2 day stay, very clean and affordable- already booked another stay for April

The property was beautiful the lake was so clean. It was a simple but perfect getaway. The only problem I had was I didn't book the cottage longer. It had everything you would need a small stay.

This was much more private and quiet than a hotel. Beautiful area. There needs to be a deadbolt on the entrance doors.

Such a beautiful, quiet location with an amazing view of the lake. It was so nice to make the quick drive to Central Avenue and Bath House Row then retreat to the comfort of our well appointed, comfortable cabin. We stayed in cottage #9 and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The owner Jerry was quick to respond to the questions we had and made sure our stay was enjoyable. We will defintely return.

The small property is a decent, quaint, yet rustic cottage. The location is very nice in close proximity to many things, including dining, in the area. A few negatives for us during our stay: there weren’t any blackout curtains in the bedroom. Normally this would not be a big deal if there had been blinds in the bedroom to block light and provide privacy. Of note, there were blinds installed but a large percentage of them were broken. Not a good thing. While I feel that the area is a safe area, we felt a bit uneasy about the security of the cottage. For instance, the entrance door appeared to be a bit flimsy, Plus, you could see light coming through the door and at the bottom of the door. Furthermore, we were concerned about the locking mechanism because it didn’t have a working deadbolt and the only way to secure the door was with an old chain.

Cabin was clean, very obviously pet friendly due to the stains on the carpet. Small, but served the purpose of our stay. Gorgeous lake view, remote enough to feel like your away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to run into town when needed. Very long list of rules but overall a decent stay.

It was in close proximity to any and everything. We were in cabin eight a little difficult to pull in and back out due to the asphalt being cracked. The view of the lake was nonexistent due to the other cabins, but that was just because I did not look at the map before booking. we cannot find a way to walk down to the beach area. The host Jerry was very nice and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The cottage itself is very dated. We eat out and never cooked so I can’t say much for the kitchen as far as the Facility itself. It is quite dated so do not expect the Ritz lol all in all it was pretty much what is posted on the site and it filled the expectations.

The cottage was adorable! It had everything that we could possibly need, minus the groceries. Pots, pans, utensils, cups, and even coffee and creamer! The beds were comfortable and there were lists of extras such as throw blankets, full size blankets, and towels. The cottage was clean and well kept. There were ACs in both bedrooms which made it very comfortable at night. Outside, the patio provided lots of room to sit and enjoy nature. The area is quiet and tranquil. There are beautiful geese that roam the waters edge. The swim beach is perfect for enjoying a swim. I cannot say enough good things about this place! It exceeded our expectations.

We had a wonderful time at the house (#10). It was perfect for us and our dog. Very relaxing and beautiful view of the water. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We have stayed downtown many times, but wanted to stay somewhere quiet with less people to unwind. Perfect spot, and super close to everything!

Wonderful place to stay!! Only complaint was it got cold and we couldn’t get the heater to work so we froze at night. But definitely will stay again
