The 108 Hotel

The room itself was beautiful, with very modern decor and great bedding, and was a big size. Plenty of hot water. Literally everything about the room itself was perfect. The restaurant attached to the hotel is quite the famous local place. My local employees were impressed and actually saw some national politicians dining there during our one-night stay. Food was good. The lobby is small but as with the rooms modern and tastefully decorated.

Coming to Pakistan for the first time and knowing that this place was near a lot of embassies, I guess I was expecting a lot more out of the neighborhood. There's basically nothing outside of the hotel. When I first pulled up to it, I was pretty surprised because most of the businesses nearby are just small, rundown places. It's not a fancy area at all. The thing that actually angered me was that the hotel very clearly says on their website that they have both an ATM and cash exchange services. They actually had neither of these, which was a problem for me when I arrived in a taxi from the airport with no local currency and asked for an ATM or cash exchange at midnight. They sent me out stumbling around in the dark. I'm not easily scared, but it did have a bit of a sketchy feeling because of the low quality of the overall neighborhood. I tried four local ATMs, none of which worked, and the last one ate my card. Luckily, the taxi driver was nice enough to accept USD. Otherwise it would have been a very awkward situation. I had booked 15 rooms that night, so if this is how they treat a high volume guest, I'm really curious how they treat people who just book one room. There aren't really any amenities aside from the restaurant, so no pool or gym or anything. Based on the booking pictures online, I thought it was a much bigger, fancier hotel. In reality, it's more like a boutique.

I have stayed here before it was good but this time they gave me a very congested room, there was hardly any space to move. Only one switch available for hair straighter/blowdryer, which was in front of tv, that too tripped about 4 time, i kept calling on the reception n they were not picking. We had to sit in the darkness for good 10 15 mins Every time.. Next morning when i ordered breakfast in the room, one item was missing n one was not what i ordered. My stay was just horrible.

It’s contemporary & minimalist furnished..

Being associated with Loafology it’s an impression that you are excess to main menu but a guy came & said this is limited menu for hotel guest which really spoils while I excitement.. it’s not matter to quantity since anyone has limit to eat but you being silently communicated that you are not privileged guest..
