We were a family of two adults and two children, not living in the Netherlands. Posetiv: Very informative access to the chatbot in WhatsApp. Easy to get information before arriving. We appreciated that everything was there to cook our own food, separat (although small) rooms with the possibility of seperating the beds. Dog-friendly, noticeable as there were many dogs in the area and trash cans on the area to help with the cleanup. Cleaning supplies were in the house (however we brought our own to be able to clean properly). Beautiful view, chairs and tables and sun loungers to have outside. Good with TV in all rooms. Beautiful surroundings, close to Maurik where you can shop at Jumbo. Nice city.

Negative... We had to clean the house thoroughly before we moved in, it was spartanly cleaned and we had to wash all the kitchen supplies that were dirty when we arrived. Only one pillow per person which was very little. Very hot in the house, AC is available but at a cost which feels very stingy when you pay 1200 euro ... Asked about the possibility of charging a car but the staff didn't understand how to do it at all and referred to an app where, as someone who doesn't live in the Netherlands, you had no idea how it worked. Big minus on that. Found mysterious stains on the mattress when we removed the sheets (which you have to do yourself before checking out) and raised it with the facility who guarantees that it is not due to vermin (we sincerely hope that is true...).

Die Lage

Ich habe zwei Villen gemietet und obwohl es nebeneinander freie gab wurden wir nicht zusammen gelegt, finde ich ziemlich schade.

Unser tiny Haus war perfekt. Wir hatten keine Lage direkt a See gebucht und leider war auch nicht frei. Wir wurden aber dennoch mit einer Hütte mit Seeblick belohnt. die direkte Umgebung bietet nicht so wahnsinnig viel. Nach Utrecht, Rotterdam und Amsterdam sind es je ca. eine Stunde fahrt. Aber wir wollten Natur und Wasser und da sind wir mehr als auf unsere Kosten gekommen. In der Nähe ist noch ein Park. Der bietet bei schlechtem Wetter gute Alternativen für indoor Aktivitäten. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Wenn wir etwas kritisieren würden, sind es die Betten. Die Matratzen sind nicht zu 100 Prozent sauber gewesen und für unseren Geschmack nicht ganz bequem, vor allem die Kissen nicht. ABER dennoch haben wir gut geschlafen.
