Manor Place - Convenience Style

The location was perfect. Very easy to get into town and to the beach or train station.

Bedroom - A curtain pole, but no curtains meant that the whole room was lit up at 3.30am. I asked the letting agent for some curtains and was advised to throw something over the curtain pole - only thing was a bed throw. The pole was up high meaning my husband had to stand on a fold up chair to reach. No curtains ever arrived. Also, the bed is not postioned well meaning that you have to shuffle between it and the radiator to get to the bathroom - gap of 30cm! Bed needs turning round to allow more room or use a bed with a smaller frame. Wardrobe was a freestanding hanging rail. Bathroom - Freestanding plastic shelf with a few toilet rolls on it. Knocked over twice when getting out of shower so just moved it into the bedroom. No need for it being there. Mould on bathroom tiles need treating. Mirror standing on window sill was not tall enough to see into so of no use. Lounge - Total mismatch of uncomfortable furniture; cold leather settee, two large hard unit chairs, a tub chair and metal chair. Flat is only for two people! Fold up table with chairs stored underneath not used. Why not get rid of some of the extra seating and set the table up in the bay window? Kitchen - All you need, but some bits chipped and an odd mismatch of crockery.

Great location. Spotlessly clean. Great communications before from the management company.

Need curtains or a better fitting blind in the bedroom

Apartment was very clean & nr all amenities let us have a later check out which was brilliant thank you for that

Didn’t like the bottom door being open at all times & maybe a pint of milk in the fridge would be a nice touch, we didn’t arrive till late so when we got up in the morning we had to get dressed to go get some for our morning coffee, we have stayed in places in the ferry before & they have done that it’s a lovely touch

Very central to all amenities and nice and cosy as the weather was so cold.

The bed. It needs upgraded it is so soft and uncomfortable

On a quiet street close to the castle, river, shops and restaurants

Extra light in entrance to building would be good as dark until reach the stairs. TV - mostly not watchable as picture breaking up. Heating good but but broke down at one point - good service within 20 minutes however provided a solution.

Great location - just one street back from the water front. Easy to park. Nice flat with plenty of kitchen equipment. Perfect for one person that needs somewhere quiet.

I had to clean the fridge before putting anything it as something has clearly been split and not cleaned up. There were also some dusty surfaces in the living room and hairs in the bathroom. Could have benefited from more towels, bin bags and toilet roll as I was there for 10 nights.

Parking could be difficult

The location was good. It was quiet. Comfortable leather sofa and bed.

Bed frame very close to wall to get to shower room.

Adequate for a short stay.

Addition of basic information such as location of washing machine and rubbish disposal would be helpful. Bed was too short and bathroom mirror too low.
