Villa Settemari

Amazing view and location.

The villa was big enough for 2, many appliances available, the terrace was big and nice like in the picture, we liked the garden furniture. Generally the villa was elegant and the bathroom very pleasant. Smart TV's with Netflix were a nice to have. It was also great to have the fresh lemons, but also tea coffee and a few biscuits to get started :)

Like it was mentioned by previous travellers, the villa is located up in Positano. So it gives you a great view of Positano, but when Positano gets very busy like it did on the day before we left, then catching public bus to get back there can be challenging. The fuses went off a few times but it was easy to restore.

Views were spectacular. Villa was very clean and modern. Our host giulio parlato was very helpful checking us in on arrival. Also very helpful giving us information for our stay and booking a tour during our stay.

Stairs to get around were very tiring. Local buses at times were difficult to get.

It was clean and comfortable

It’s far from everything. Cabs are hard to find and expensive. 40 euros each way into town. Bus only runs every hour and is always late.

Air conditioning was not sufficient ..unit was too hot despite having AC on low temp. Location to town too far.

The villa was great for our family of 6. Pasta, snacks & coffee were stocked upon arrival, and the villa was super adorable with a terrific view! AC worked great!!!! Caffe Positano (halfway from villa to beach) had an incredible view and was delicious for breakfast and dinner (caesar salad was the best throughout our Italy travels!). After traveling for 3+ weeks, the washing machine came in handy! Arrive at the door with a driver. As many mentioned there are 600-650-ish steps from to villa from beach and vice versa. The last push of stairs going up gets tough but totally doable (even with bags of groceries & wine), and a few flights of stairs down for a quaint grocery store. You can always walk the street instead of stairs (longer time though). I recommend that once you leave, you only return to stay & sleep. There is a bus stop literally right outside but we didn't use.

One of the bathrooms was so small but not a problem since master bath is roomy.

the convenience in accommodating 8 adults comfortably! the property manager was responsive and forthcoming with support!

Pearl of Almafi coast. Great design. Very clean and spacious. Highly recommend for large family or several couples.
