A truly luxurious stay with an incredible view. We cancelled a few planned drives to spend more time at our "tent". Cannot describe just how amazing this whole stay was. Thanks Jana. See you again

Having to leave after 3 days

This place is out-of-this-world cool and fun. I’m 71 and it is one of the most interesting and beautiful places I have ever stayed. And the hosts are great!

This is a very unique place to stay in the beautiful area of Golden Bay. A lushly decked out tent with all of the luxuries of a hotel, with a stunning view over the coast to the Bay. Easy drive to explore the beaches of the area and also the national park. Very private. Highly recommended!

Jana and Drew have got an unbelievably special and unique place. We were already so excited to stay here based on the photos but they actually don’t do it justice, it’s even better than you think! The view is breathtaking and everything feels luxurious. Amazing communication and we felt so welcomed. Attention to detail was evident in every corner, everything you needed was there and done so well including delicious breakfast supplies and we made the most of the marshmallow roasting too ☺️ The view is phenomenal, a slice of heaven. At the bottom of the hill at Tata beach you’ll find a great spot to relax and we did the kayaking tour with Golden Bay Kayaks which was so special! Easy drive into Takaka for a range of food options and such a retreat to return to. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you, Jana and Drew, we genuinely couldn’t have dreamed of a more gorgeous and special spot.

Relaxing, Modern with a glamping twist. Beautiful views of the ocean from your front porch. The little details the host have put into this place puts an amazing touch. The breakfast provided was a delight with fresh eggs and bread. Lovely bath salts provided for that nice evening bath to capture the sunset. And the buggy’s were such fun to be able to take them to the beach. Honestly this place is just paradise.

This place was magical! The sweet couple that own this place have thought of everything and were so helpful! Stay at least 3 nights, seriously. We wished we had booked more nights. My boyfriend chose to propose on the patio here because the setting was so memorable! Also, the electric buggy was super fun to drive around to the beach!

This is glamping at its best! The tent is so tastefully furnished by the owners, modern yet cosy with all high quality materials. The bathroom is fantastic with double shower, floor heating and white fluffy towels and bathrobes. And then the view, breathtakingly stunning! After a long day of hiking or canoeing you can take a bath next to each other wiith or without a sunset drink. Very special. For the road up the hill there are buggies for guests to use and as these are registered for the public road also possible to take them for a fun ride to the beach. No need to go out for dinner, as there is a Weber grill for outside cooking. For breakfast the fridge was filled with lots of goodies. Definitely a place to come back to and the access to the more quiet part of Abel Tasman NP is only a 15 minute drive away.
