Onsite restaurant was veryyy pricey. Room had no microwave and no regular tv. A lot of stairs. Breakfast is free but very limited not vegan friendly.

Parties until 3AM in the hot tub which security and staff did nothing about. They said, "there is nothing we can do." I could hear everything from our room. No soundproofing to block the noise. It was as if I was sitting right beside them. Upon booking and arrival you must sign a document stating if you're loud after hours they will warn you once and the 2nd time they will charge you. What is the purpose of this document if it's not upheld?

It’s a beautiful property and the rooms were great. The restaurant was very very good and I highly recommend it. It should be noted that the hotel is situated on a very steep hill and there are very many steps to climb, even from the rooms up to the restaurant. Not suitable for those who can’t manage stairs. Otherwise it’s delightful.

Nice property with easy walking access to Charlotte Amalie. Restaurant was very good.

The hotel is in a well renovated old building with rooms on multiple floors only accessible by steps (no elevator). Because we are "seniors' , we asked if someone could bring our bags up to office at check-out. They said "of course" but did not mention an additional "room service fee" ($9.20) for the service (note that the hotel also charges a $50 "resort fee" for reasons that are unclear). It doesn't seem that there should be a charge to simply have bags brought to check-out given that there are not elevators but at least they should have mentioned that such a fee was being charged up-front.
