Messaged the host the day before arrival to enquire if a bbq was available at the property . They replied to confirm there was an electric grill bbq on the outdoor terrace but on arrival there wasn’t one . Messaged again and got quite a rude reply saying there isn’t one listed on the property details

Beautiful appnt in a central location. Public car park opposite which is secured at night. Roof terrace is a lovely advantage, ideal for drinks after a full day's shopping!

Firstly, not an apartment for those with mobility difficulties. There are stairs leading from the ground floor equaling around 2 flights. Hand rail on right so coming down was difficult for father in law as not only mobility needs, but left broken shoulder. I was aware of these, but not of the stairs in the apartment up to bedrooms and en-suites. So when you need the toilet you have to go upstairs. Maybe this should be highlighted on the description. A lovely apartment though and I would highly recommend if no mobility requirements. Wonderful long hallway that is quite a stopper when you first open the apartment door. Stunning window in lounge area that runs from floor to ceiling across the wall. Single glazed with Safety glass barrier in front of window. Although it was only 18 degrees, it was sunny and the lounge/ dining room became hot. There was one window around 50cm x 50cm which was slightly open. I would not like to be there in the height of summer. It would definitely benefit from an air conditioning unit in that area as there is no other proper ventilation on that floor. Large Sofa so lots of seating. It was very low. Lovely dining table and table and stools too. Nespresso machine and 4 pods and tea bags. In fact nice kitchen and everything you need really and good quality. Excellent American fridge freezer with cold water and ice maker. High spec with Alexa and lots of smart features. A twin room overlooking terrace to back of property. Double with en-suite shower to front. Would definitely be noisy during busy periods and if windows needed to be open. Excellent mattresses, nice bedding and towels. Whole apartment clean and I am quite particular. There is a lot of Glass and chrome and almost all light fittings being glass. They could definitely do with a good wash and brighten. The one in dining room did not give a good impression when eating as it was above the table.

Things mentioned above were minor, but I would not have chosen the apartment if I had known about the stairs in the actual unit for mobility needs, but I would definitely recommend for others

The location was fantastic right in the centre of Harrogate but a quiet street

A downstairs toilet would be good and perhaps some drapes/curtains or blinds for the street facing lounge window for a bit of privacy

The sofa is uncomfortable for older people (me)

Spacious, light and comfortable apartment. Lovely bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Central location.

Lots of noise through night/am in front bedroom due to single pane windows - so bring earplugs!
