Ambiance Boutique Art Hotel Lahore

This hotel delivered one of the most appalling, frustrating, and unacceptable experiences I have ever encountered as a traveler. I travel internationally on a regular basis and stay in hotels throughout the year. I have experienced occasional problems before, but I have never encountered a property that failed so completely in such fundamental areas of hospitality, transparency, and guest comfort. The first warning sign came before checkout. A member of staff approached me with a review form and encouraged me to leave a positive review about my stay. At that point, I had no reason to believe there were any outstanding charges because I had already paid the full amount for all rooms upon arrival using my debit card, and the payment had been processed and confirmed by the hotel itself. Only after requesting positive feedback did the hotel suddenly inform me that I had to pay an additional 23,000 PKR, claiming it was for taxes. This charge had never been disclosed at check-in, despite the fact that the hotel had already collected payment in full. Being asked for a positive review before revealing a significant additional charge felt deeply misleading and raised serious concerns about the property’s transparency and business practices. Unfortunately, that was only part of the disaster. The entire property was overwhelmed by a persistent sewage smell. Not just one room. Not one hallway. The odor was present throughout the hotel and was impossible to ignore. It was so severe that it affected my ability to sleep, relax, or spend time comfortably inside the room. I changed rooms twice in an effort to escape the problem, yet the same foul smell existed everywhere. What made the situation even more shocking was that the staff appeared to be fully aware of the issue. Rather than solving the problem, they repeatedly attempted to cover it with air fresheners. The result was a nauseating mixture of sewage and artificial fragrance that made the environment even more unpleasant.

Clean, tidy, pretty place

The hotel is well put together, the rooms are nice and comfortable, the location is central, decent security outside the hotel and the staff appears to be well trained.

Everything was nice and in order for a comfortable stay.
