The Commodore Inn

Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was a good size with a bay window looking out over Morecombe Bay. The Inn seems as if it’s being gradually nicely refurbished.

Great location, and views of Morcambe Bay from both bedroom and dining room. Undergoing an extensive refurbishment during our stay, but I think that the snagging list will be on more than one sheet of a4. Staff fantastic, food very good, and good beer selection. Overall good.

No parking available when it said it did - room very stuffy, not much circulation so felt very claustrophobic

Should warn when booking ‘not suitable for wheelchair users or people with severe walking difficulties’. It is an old building and floors etc very uneven. Decor is very tired. Bedding was clean so that was a plus.

Average, nothing terrible and nothing amazing. Nice pub.

Good evening. I would just like to say how disappointed I am with the stay that we have just had we stayed in crows nest and powder room the shower didn’t work the tap was broken the bedding was dirty the light didn’t work the plug was hanging down on extension lead touching radiator walls had holes in. We saw menu in bedroom for breakfast when I asked for poached eggs no sorry not available local sausages were Richmond or cheap sausages no beans first morning no weetabix available 2nd morning no weetabix still and no white bread The food we order the first night was disgusting the steak pie burnt and when we complained u offered drink or pudding we paid for a meal it should be replaced or refunded there was no steak on me u as advertised outside the food has gone down hill massively since last year. And the glasses we were served are drinks in at the bar were dirty and the lager was flat. I am asking for the money back in both rooms as it ruined our stay and we won’t Be returning.

The rooms had been recently tastefully decorated and had great views of the bay. Unfortunately there was no way of controlling the heating and it was on all night making the rooms very warm.

Lovely and friendly people, bathroom could do with updating, Breakfast service lacked a bit of homely service, dining area Cold, could also do with upgrading the Breakfast service, ie.self-service juice, cereals Toaster, Tea and coffee, great walk along the promenade, plenty of little shops, cafes and take aways for such a small town, would definitely go back

Always great to stay here we have stayed a few times. Great for walking. We were cold in the breakfast room this time my husband had to leave his coat on. But still looking forward to staying again.

A great place to stay in a lovely location. The room was nice and the breakfast was very tasty.
